Brewers grain (Dried)

Brewers grain (beer grain) is a waste of brewing manufacture — the sediment remaining after cooking and extraction of barley wort. Contains particles of the core and shell of the grain. Used in feeding animals in fresh and dried form. In 100 kg fresh beer grains — 21,2 feed units and 4.2 kg of digestible protein; 100 kg of dry — 75,7 fodder units and 16.9 kg of digestible protein. Spent grains, mixed with other forages include in the feed.
Dry beer grains tasty and also well eaten by cattle, adds the volume of the feed mixture. In the diet of cattle dry beer grain may reach 15-25%.

Sugar Beet Pulp

Sugar Beet Pulp — crushed sugar beet, waste from sugar beet industry. Fed to livestock in fresh, dried (loose and pellets) and silage (sour pulp).
Fresh pulp is a watery food that spoils quickly. Dried sugar beet pulp maintains long storage, it is convenient for feeding. Dry beet pulp is a highly concentrated feed for livestock. Nutritional value it 12-13 times higher than fresh weight reduced in a factor of 12-13, making it more transportable and convenient.
The number of feed units dry pulp is about equal to oat, i.e. twice pitatelnaya and hay three times — oat straw. Dry beet pulp, protected from direct ingress of water can be stored without loss of properties of feed for an unlimited time.
Beet pulp (granular), Composition (at %ratio):
Proteins – 8,31, Fat – 0,66, Fiber – 23,05, nitrogen-free extractive substances – 65,59, Water – 7,81, the Content of vitamins and minerals (mg/kg): vitamin B1 (aneurin) – 0,55, vitamin B2 (lactoflavin) to 0.20, Pantothenic acid – 0,21, vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) – 0,18, vitamin B8 (Niacin) – 0,26, Biotin – 0,001, calcium 4.7 g, phosphorus 1.2 g, feed unit – 0,85.
Also beet pulp is used as raw material for biogas plants.

Sunflower oil cake

Oil cake – a concentrated feed for farm animals from oil seed crops, resulting from the extraction of oil from seeds residues on the technology “cold pressed”, with a high content of vegetable protein (from 15 to 40%), one of the components of combined feed.
Especially valuable is the sunflower protein Sunflower oil cake. This feed contains about 6.2-7% minerals. It is much more calcium and phosphorus than in feed grains (0,30—0,35% calcium and 0.81—0.97 percent against phosphorus of 0.07% and 0.35% in barley grain).
As corn feed meal is rich in vitamins of the complex B. 1 kg of press oilcake contains 0.2 to 0.3 mg carotene, thiamine ml, 6-9 mg of Riboflavin 44-48 mg of nicotinic acid, 7-14 mg of Pantothenic acid. The nutritional value of the meal is of 0.82 to 1.28 and fodder units from 244 to 430 g of digestible protein in 1 kg.
Sunflower oilcake can be entered in the dry and the soaked state, as part of combined fodder in mixture with other feedstuffs.
Fiber, part of the Sunflower oil cake positive effect on the process of digestion and therefore especially useful for ruminants. In addition, introduction of sunflower oilcake in the combined feed has a positive effect on restoring function, strengthens the immunity, improves growth, quality of milk, meat, eggs, improves performance.
